yesterday my husband found some recipe in the new's paper in Quincy herald-whig i'ts called Sweet and Sour Pork ......this morning before we live to go to work my husband told me that we gonna try to fix that Sweet and Sour Pork for supper for tonight, so i told him that i will stop by in the grocery store get some green peppers on the way home from work, cauze were out of it......i usually start cooking around 5:00 p.m but today i have to wait for my husband to get home, he will be home around 6:15 p.m... he want us to cook together..... ( so sweet )........ we really enjoyed cooking together.... we do alot's together house work, laundry anything....... and did i tell you his a good cooked? he can make a good dessert too... he is definitely a keeper............i was slicing the peppers and onions and my husband slicing the meat, we really work together good, we don't have to tell do this do that we just do it....... it takes over hour to cook this Sweet and Sour Pork ...... so when food still cooking, i'm busy watching american got talent they all good......... did you guy's like to watch these american got talent's? who you think i'ts gonna wen? oh i can't wait for finaly to come, i'm getting more excited who's going home with a million dollar's....
here's the recipe if you wanna try it
" Sweet and Sour Pork "
1 1/2-2 pounds pork, cubed...green peppers strips....onion chunks....rice....1 large can pineapple....1/4 cup red....wine vinegar....1/4 cup brown sugar....1 tablespoon soy sauce....1 teaspoon salt....dash of pepper....3/4 cup water....1/2 cup flour
drain pineapple, and mix juice with water, vinegar, soy sauce and brown sugar; set aside...combine flour, salt and pepper. use to dredge meat. cook meat in skillet in 2 tables spoon oil until browned; drain off extra oil....pour in pineapple juice mixture. cover and simmer one hour. uncover and add pineapple, green pepper and onions...cook 10-15 minutes, serve over rice
